yaki-ika, hot-plate or brasero grilled calamar is a common street stall snack in Osaka. It’s everywhere.
Note that you can also have crepe style ika-yaki, but not in this post.
The ingredient, locally fished, is cheap.
A freshly cleaned pocket of calamar. I let it a few hours marinate in sake.
