GOURMANDE in OSAKA

Freely insprired from my friend Fleur’s orange cake. Merci pour l’idée !

A quatre-quart type cake, like this :
Quatre-quarts, the simple butter cake

The particularity is some grapefruit juice is added to the batter. I couldn’t add the grated rind (not organic at all), so I replace with bits of home-made candied orange peel. The sugar is kurozato, Japanese black sugar.

Golden and delicious…

That’s a perfect coffee snack.
